Questions, answered
Who is SessionKite for?
Tutors, coaches, and studios or schools that teach in person or online, plus the parents and students they work with. It is built for music, sports, academics and similar lessons.
Is it free?
Yes, there is a free plan with up to 10 student records and your class schedule. Paid plans add things like payments, reminders, parent messages and AI progress notes. You will see exactly what each plan includes on the pricing page.
Do I need a studio or school to use it?
No. Start on your own. If you later join a studio or school, you connect your account with an invite and keep all your students and history. If you leave, you keep your students too.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. There are Android and iPhone apps for instructors, parents, students and institutions, and the website works on any device. The admin console for networks of institutions is web only.
How do you protect students’ information?
Every account only sees the records that belong to it, and that rule is enforced in the database itself. Many students are children, so we collect only what the service needs, never use advertising cookies, and give parents and guardians control. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
Can parents and students sign up?
Yes. They can create their own account, or join with the invite link or QR code their instructor shares. A parent can be linked to more than one child.
Which countries and currencies are supported?
SessionKite is built for use in India and the United States. Prices are shown in Indian rupees for now, with dollar pricing to follow.
How do I delete my account?
Open Account settings and choose “Request account deletion”. Because accounts can be linked to students and other people’s records, a person reviews each request before anything is removed.
