Terms of Service

Last updated 9 October 2026

These terms explain what you can expect from SessionKite and what we expect from you. They are written to be read, so please do.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and SessionKite (“we”, “us”) about your use of SessionKite, including our website, mobile apps and related services. By creating an account or using SessionKite you accept these terms. If you use it for an institution, you confirm you are allowed to accept them on its behalf.

Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle personal information.

What SessionKite is

SessionKite is software that helps instructors and institutions manage students, classes, attendance, payments and communication with families. We provide the tools. We are not a school, a tutor or a coach, and we are not a party to the lessons, agreements or payments between instructors, institutions, parents and students.

SessionKite is launching in stages. Features described as “coming soon” may change or arrive later than planned.

Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 to open an instructor, institution or parent account. A child can have a student account only with a parent or guardian’s permission.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password safe and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Admin accounts are created only by us or by invitation. You may not try to give yourself, or another account, a role that was not granted to it.
  • One person may hold more than one account of different types, such as a parent and an instructor.

Instructors and institutions

If you enter information about students or guardians, you agree that:

  • you have the right to do so and, for children, the permission of a parent or guardian where the law requires it;
  • you will use the information only to teach, support and communicate with those students and families, and keep it confidential;
  • you will follow the laws that apply to you, including those about children’s data, consumer protection, taxes and, where relevant, safeguarding;
  • you are responsible for the content you enter and for the notes, feedback and messages you send, including any you create with AI features and choose to share.

When you link to or leave an institution, what you and they can see changes as shown to you before you agree. Linking and unlinking do not delete records.

Parents and students

Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s use of SessionKite and for keeping their own account secure. Your instructor or institution, not us, decides what lessons are offered and at what price. Any complaint about a lesson should go to them first.

Plans, fees and payments

  • SessionKite has a free plan and paid plans. What each includes, and the price, is shown on our pricing page and at the time you choose a plan. Prices are in Indian rupees for now; other currencies may be added.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance each period and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the plan then ends at the end of the period you paid for. Unless the law says otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded.
  • Prices exclude taxes such as GST or sales tax, which are added where they apply. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice, effective from your next period.
  • If you do not pay, we may limit your account to the free plan. Records are not deleted because of a lapsed plan.
  • Payments between families and instructors or institutions are made through third-party payment providers and are governed by the providers’ terms. We are not responsible for those providers or for disputes between the parties.

Messages and reminders

You may send messages and reminders through SessionKite, including by WhatsApp, email and text message, only to people who have agreed to receive them or where the law otherwise allows it. You are responsible for following the rules of the messaging service and the laws on unsolicited messages that apply where you and the recipients are. Recipients can ask you to stop, and you must do so.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • upload unlawful, abusive, harassing or sexual content, or content that endangers a child;
  • send spam or use SessionKite to contact people who have not agreed to hear from you;
  • try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or test the security of the service without our written permission;
  • interfere with the service, overload it, or use bots to guess invite codes or passwords;
  • copy, resell or build a competing service from SessionKite.

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that break these rules, and we may report content that endangers a child to the authorities.

Your content

You keep ownership of the information and content you put into SessionKite. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide the service to you and the people you link with. We do not use it for advertising.

AI features

AI features produce drafts that may be wrong or incomplete. You must review anything they produce before relying on it or sharing it, and you remain responsible for it. AI features are not professional, medical or educational advice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep SessionKite available, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you rely on in a way that harms you, we will give reasonable notice.

Ending your use

You can stop using SessionKite at any time and can ask us to delete your account from Account settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put others at risk, telling you why where we can. When an account ends, we handle its information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

SessionKite is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty that it will meet your needs or be free of errors, and we do not guarantee the conduct of any user.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to SessionKite is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, to the smallest amount the law allows). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or removes consumer rights you cannot give up.

If a claim is made because of you

If a third party makes a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, or because of content you entered, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the company named at the top of these terms is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there can hear disputes, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. We would like to hear about a problem and try to fix it before either of us goes to court.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using SessionKite after that, you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows when this page was last changed.
